The delayed German and International Rubber Conference (DKT IRC) 2021 was held in Nuremberg, Germany between 27-30th of June 2022 in which companies from all over the world presented their products. Standard Profil is proud to be a part of this special conference. Yusuf Güner, Standard Profil Group R&D Materials Expert, made a presentation explaining the results of the co-research together with UPM The Biofore Company. The joint research paper “Sustainable-Light Weight EPDM Based Sealing System Compounding with Renewable Functional Fillers (RFF)” was presented to a crowded audience and drew a large number of questions from the international rubber audience. Standard Profil has added another opportunity to partially replace fossil-based materials with innovative, renewable, and sustainable products, RFF, thanks to our collaboration with UPM.
