Standard Profil continues to collaborate with leading universities in Turkey in the R&D area. Standard Profil’s Turkish R&D Centers in Düzce and Manisa plants achieved success with three projects within the “2244 Industry Academy PhD Program” which is approved for funding by TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey). This year 147 companies and 47 universities applied to the program and 188 projects have been approved. The TÜBİTAK 2244 Program aims to contribute to the competency development of people holding a PhD degree, for the needs of the industry regarding research purposes of common interests. SP Düzce R&D Center will collaborate with Özyeğin University on acoustics and extrusion technology. SP Manisa R&D Center will collaborate with 9 Eylül University on TPV related fundamental and applicative research. The model constructed with Ege University is a diverse one that targets a pre-competitive collaboration model.
