The Sheltered Workplace and Living Center for the Mentally Disabled (Zihinsel Engelliler Korumalı İş yeri, or ZEKİ, in Turkish), in which Standard Profil is one of the founding members and one of the leading Turkish and global firms providing contributions, has received a silver award in the “Institution and Organization/Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year in Europe” category at the Stevie International Business Awards, one of the most prestigious business awards globally.
ZEKI is a social responsibility project that was started by companies such as Standard Profil, Vestel, Bosch, Termoteknik and Teleset, and was spearheaded by Manisa Industrial Park (MOSB).
The Stevie Awards was attended by multiple institutions and nonprofits in every sector from approximately 60 countries. There are seven categories, and 3,900 applications were received for the Institution and Organization Category. The ZEKI Center received the award after a two-month assessment by the 12-person jury chosen from nearly 200 executives from all over the world.
