Standard Profil continues to pursue its globalization strategy with the addition of its factory in Mexico, which leverages its competitive edge when it comes to being in close proximity to the customer. The factory will serve North America, the heart of the automotive sector. In a statement on the opening, Standard Profil CEO Turhan Semizer emphasized that SP Mexico was completed in the short span of nine months and added: “With the latest investment in Mexico, Standard Profil now engages in production in seven countries across four continents, and it is now the second largest producer in Europe with more than 20% market share in its sector. We intend to achieve the same level of success in America with Standard Profil Mexico, a significant step in the globalization of our production.” Semizer stated his confidence in achieving this goal with the support of Standard Profil’s Mexico family.
