The Standard Profil Group continues to expand in global markets. In addition to the Mexico factory that opened in Mexico in December 2014, a new factory has just opened in Stara Zagora, doubling the production capacity of business in Bulgaria. The opening ceremony of the factory was held on May 28, 2015 in the presence of Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, as well as Turkish Ambassador to Bulgaria Süleyman Gökçe, Sofia Chief Commercial Counselor M. Emrah Sazak, Mayor of Stara Zagora Zhivko Todorov and President of the Turkey-Bulgaria Business Council Yalçın Egemen.
Standard Profil broke new ground in the sector with this latest investment in Bulgaria. The hybrid encapsulation concept to be implemented in the new factory is the fruit of Standard Profil’s R&D experience combined with yearlong engineering and prototyping efforts. The system significantly increases sealing quality by combining three different materials, namely rubber profile, TPV and glass, in a single operation, resulting in a more durable product and a stronger seal. With this latest addition to its product range, Standard Profil will be able to offer a wider variety of services to its customers.
